Python

102 tutorials in 8 subcategories

Python has the largest share of this list, split into sections: Python web apps (Flask and Django), web scraping, bots, data science, machine learning, deep learning, OpenCV computer vision, and a mixed section of more Python projects such as interpreters, a Git clone and terminal games. Each section has its own page with a suggested order.

If you have just learned the basics, start with More Python projects. Robert Heaton's programming projects for advanced beginners (Game of Life, ASCII art, a tic-tac-toe AI, photomosaics and Snake) are short and well explained. Then pick a direction: Miguel Grinberg's Flask Mega-Tutorial or the Django Girls tutorial for web development, a Reddit or Telegram bot for working with APIs, or Scrapy and BeautifulSoup for scraping.

The computer vision and deep learning sections lean heavily on PyImageSearch, Adrian Rosebrock's site, and on Keras and TensorFlow tutorials from around 2018. They still teach the core ideas well, but library versions have moved on, so pin versions or expect to update some imports.
